The Harlan began as the Hillview Apartments, built in 1917 by Jesse Lasky and Samuel Goldwyn and known as one of the first buildings in Hollywood to rent to actors. Its basement once held a speakeasy.
JCI Development and True USA restored the building and brought it back in 2022 as 27 studios, 13 one-bedrooms and 14 two-bedrooms on Hollywood Boulevard.
The relaunch was in effect a new delivery, with the building coming to market as a whole, and our team led its lease-up.
